Polperro Beach is just outside the harbour walls and is a beautifully sheltered spot. The beach is small and vanishes at high tide! Access is either on foot or on a shuttle bus.

A beautiful south facing sandy beach at the foot of a wooded valley. The beach has parking and cafe and restaurant facilities close by.
Whitsand
Whitsand Bay boasts 4 miles of sand as the neighbouring coves join on the low tide. The beach is accessed via a steep path and steps but it is never crowded unlike many of the beaches in and around Looe.
