One of the most popular Flamenco guitarists in Spain at the moment is coming to UK!!
José Almarcha is a superb guitarist and composer from Ciudad Real. José studied flamenco at Córdoba Conservatory of Music in 2009 and with great flamenco masters such as Paco Serrano and Niño de Pura. He has accompanied dancers such as Olga Pericet, Marco Flores and Antonio Canales. After the excellent reception of his first album, Vejézate, he has just released his new album, Alejandra, which will be showcased in Bath.
Lucía Ruibal is an accomplished dancer from El Puerto de Santa María near Cádiz. She often performs with her father, Javier Ruibal, the popular singer-songwriter. Lucía studied flamenco dance with La Lupi and Mercedes Ruíz and performs in Madrid with major flamenco groups such as those of Rafael Amargo and Juan de Juan.
Demi García Sabat:
Originally from Barcelona. London based since 1999. Demi studied at the London College of Music.
He now works as a freelance percussionist,drummer specialising in Flamenco, Arabic, Latin, Jazz, Pop music and Iberian Folk.
