About

The most popular event here at Mount Edgcumbe will be back for it’s 27th year! An amazing event jointly organised by The Friends of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and Cornwall Hospice Care, these two charities work tirelessly every year to make this event a roaring success! With hundreds of vehicles of all shapes and sizes to see plus entertainment and plenty of retail opportunities there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Featuring over 800 cars of all marques, Mount Edgcumbe Classic & American Car Show is the biggest annual event held at this beautiful country park!

Not just a car show, the summer fair has something for everyone – from local crafts, artisan food & beverages and a fairground to keep the children entertained, we even have a popular car boot section.

Quoted in the February 2023 edition of Custom Car Magazine as ‘One of the biggest events of it’s kind… you’d also go a long way to find a better value car show’.

The event is formally opened at 11am, but visitors can arrive from 9am when the fair and car park opens.

It is estimated that in excess of 10,000 visitors attend our show each year – and for good reason! With the beautiful backdrop of Mount Edgcumbe House at the top of the park and the scenic Barnpool with views across to Plymouth, you can enjoy the scenery from anywhere in the showground.

What’s more, you will be supporting 2 local charities by attending our event!
