DESCRIPTION:WELCOME TO THE SIBLYBACK LAKE GECKO GATHERING! \nA firm favourite in the calendar and a sell out every year! \nReturning Saturday 20th June 2026 \nThis family friendly summer event has proved popular in past years for it’s stunning scenery\, flat course & supportive\, welcoming atmosphere \nThere is something for everyone at this event\, with every participant receiving a medal\, awards for the top finishers in each distance & post race treats being available from the wonderful Olive & Co Cafe! \n2.5k\, 5k & 10k – No pressure – No cut off – Ages 5+ \n(Children to be accompanied by an adult at all times) \n(Please note – the loop is 4.8k – In previous years we have tried add-ons to make up the distance but these have not proved popular or 100% safe as numbers of participants grow & space is limited – so the actual distance is 4.8k or 9.6k) \nTHE SIBLYTHON \nOwing to it’s previous success\, the Siblython returns for it’s 4th year in 2026! \nRunners have 8 hours in which to complete as many laps of the lake as possible. Set yourself a target or just run free & see what distance you cover\, the choice is yours. Your time is your own\, The clock doesn’t stop. Rest for as long as you like. Bring kit\, a picnic\, all the support crew & enjoy the afternoon! \nNo pressure trail running in a stunning location! \nTake rest stops whenever you like. 5 laps gets you a half marathon ( & a bit )\, 9 laps gets you a full marathon. \n(Please ensure you complete a full lap to have your distance recorded\, do not get so far around the lake and walk back in the same direction. All laps must be completed in full to have a time registered). \nReg open from 7am \n4.8k/9.6k start 8am \n2.5k start 9.15am \nSiblython start 10am \n

DESCRIPTION:Organised by dedicated Looe RNLI volunteers and proudly supported by the Looe Boat Owners Association (LBOA)\, the Looe Raft Race is back  and it’s set to be bigger\, better\, and wetter than ever! \nOne of the most popular annual events in Looe\, the raft race attracts hundreds of spectators who line the Banjo Pier and quaysides on both sides of the river to catch all the action. \nWatch teams navigate the river on their wildly creative and often hilariously unstable homemade rafts – it’s a unique and unforgettable family event in South East Cornwall. \n\n
