About
Curlews Cottage is a three-storey period townhouse, situated in the middle of the town, very close to the beach, harbour and shops, set back in a quiet courtyard.
It is situated in the middle of the town yet resting in a peaceful setting.
On entering the property you come into the open plan living area, with dining area, kitchen and cosy lounge with electric real flame-effect fire, perfect for relaxing in the evening.
Off the lounge is a doorway leading you up a staircase to the first floor, with a well furnished double bedroom and stylish family shower room with a large rain shower.
There is also an additional cloakroom on this floor.
On the second floor there is a beautiful double bedroom with a painted stone feature wall, complete with rooftop views looking out to the Looe hills.
There is also a light and airy twin bedroom with two full-sized single beds; this room is packed with toys, games and books to occupy the younger guests in the group.
Looe has a wealth of public houses, restaurants and a traditional fishing harbour, the second largest in Cornwall.
If you want to try your hand yourself, there are plenty of boating and fishing trips available during the season.
Another boat trip well worth considering is to visit the stunning Looe Island, a natural sanctuary for birds and local wildlife.
This small but characterful town boasts two beaches with natural rock pools, caves and woodland walks.
Enjoy a trip on the Bodinnick Car ferry to Fowey then head to St Austell for the famous Eden Project and Heligan gardens.
The stunning coastline and the South West Coastal path, which Looe is situated between, is waiting to be explored.
With so much to see and and do locally, Curlew Cottage makes an ideal destination whatever the time of year.
