Polperro
Polperro Beach is just outside the harbour walls and is a beautifully sheltered spot. The beach is small and vanishes at high tide! Access is either on foot or on a shuttle bus.
Seaton
Situated to the east of Looe, Seaton Beach can be found at the foot of the Hessenford Valley. The River Seaton crosses the beach which is popular with children and there is easy access to the car park, toilets and a beachfront cafe.
Millendreath
A beautiful south facing sandy beach at the foot of a wooded valley. The beach has parking and cafe and restaurant facilities close by.
Portwrinkle
Hoodny Cove and Finnygook Beach are accessible from Portwrinkle. Both are sandy beaches and are popular with families. Finnygook Beach is used by experienced surfers.
Looe
Hannafore Beach is a quiet south east facing shingle beach that is well known for its rock pools and great views of Looe Island. It is popular with dog walkers all year round.
Downderry
This wide beach is the perfect place to relax, play and explore. Parking, toilets and a cafe are available in the village and at low tide you can walk across to Seaton Beach.
Talland
Talland Bay is located midway between Looe and Polperro. Talland Bay is made up of two coves and the main beach has a car park, cafe and toilets close by. This section of the coast is designated both an Area of Outsanding Beauty and a Heritage Coast.
Looe
Plaidy Beach is just around the corner from Looe. It is a small sheltered beach with a peaceful feel that is best discovered on foot.
Whitsand
Whitsand Bay boasts 4 miles of sand as the neighbouring coves join on the low tide. The beach is accessed via a steep path and steps but it is never crowded unlike many of the beaches in and around Looe.
East Looe
Looe Beach (also known as East Looe beach) is a fantastic sandy beach very popular with families. Located in front of the town with cafes and toilets nearby. Access is generally on foot through the town centre.
