
Looe Carnival Week

Held at the end of July and the beginning of August, Looe Carnival signals the start of the summer and fun times ahead for all ages. Looe Carnival is organised by the Lions Club of Looe, with events throughout the week ranging from choir performances and sandcastle competitions to fancy dress treasure hunts. The highlight of the week is, as always, the Grand Carnival Procession, which provides some great entertainment for a Saturday evening. Bring the whole family; there are lots of events especially for kids throughout the week.
Traditional Furry Dance starts at 7pm on Monday 28th July 2025 and will wind its way around the town. Get a good viewing point to enjoy this event.
Summer Run with Looe Pioneers offer a mini fun run and their annual summer run, both start at the Millpool Centre. Mini run begins at 7.05pm and the Summer run starts at 7pm on Tuesday 29th July 2025. Registration from 6pm.
Sandcastle Modelling Competition on the Beach at 1pm on Wednesday 30th July 2025
Musical Evening at Looe Lifeboat Station. Looe Ukulele Band from 6:30pm followed by Polperro Fishermen’s Choir at 8pm on Thursday 31st July 2025
Fancy Dress Treasure Hunt starts at West Looe Quayside Centre from 6pm – 7pm and finishes at 8pm. Entry £5 per adult, under 16’s free. Friday 1st August 2025
Grand Carnival Procession. This is the finale of the week with the procession working its way through the town centre to finish the week. 6.30pm start on Saturday 2nd Aug 2025
