Lostwithiel is hosting a charity garden safari with 7 individual gardens opening around the town 11am – 4.30pm. They are full of inspiration as to what can be achieved in a small space. Park centrally in the town or why not catch the train to Lostwithiel and walk from the station, which is centrally located. Collect a map from Llawnroc PL22 0JP and follow the yellow signs. The combined entrance is £7 and home-made teas are being served at 3 of the gardens. Money raised goes to a range of health and nursing charities such as Marie Curie, Macmillan Cancer Care and Parkinson’s UK.
