This September, the charming fishing town of Looe comes alive with the sound of live music. With not one but two fantastic festivals taking place, it’s the perfect time to visit Cornwall’s south coast for a mix of coastal beauty and unforgettable performances.

🎶 Looe Weekender: 19th–21st September 2025
Returning for its 4th year, Looe Weekender is a much-loved celebration of local talent, and it’s completely free to attend. Organised by Looe’s pubs, clubs and bars, this lively event transforms the town into a musical trail spanning 12 venues and pop-up stages.
From East Looe to West Looe and Hannafore, you’ll discover an eclectic mix of genres ranging from rock to blues, all set against the town’s stunning coastal backdrop. Think of it as a musical pub crawl!

🌊 Kernowfornia Festival: 26th–28th September 2025
A week later, the excitement continues with the launch of a brand-new event Kernowfornia Festival. Taking place on East Looe Beach, this three-day festival brings internationally acclaimed artists to Cornwall’s shores.
The carefully curated line-up features headliners Marillion, Nick Mulvey, Jordan Rakei, and Newton Faulkner, alongside a diverse mix of rising stars. From indie and rock to folk, blues and jazz, Kernowfornia offers something for every taste.
For visitors, there’s also a shuttle bus service plus convenient late-night routes to Plymouth and Liskeard, making travel simple and stress-free.
