Dog Friendly Walks and Beaches

There is plenty to see and do in Looe throughout the year. It is a lively seaside town in South East Cornwall. There are plenty of walks and dog friendly beaches nearby (please note no dogs are permitted on Looe beach at any time other than assistance dogs). There are signs up on every entrance to the beach reminding people of this and also on two main information signs on the seafront.

There are plenty of pleasure cruises to enjoy and many of them dog friendly. With plenty of easy walks with a dog friendly ferry where dogs can travel free whilst sniffing the sea air as we go.

You might like to explore the cobbled streets in Looe, with an array of pubs, cafés and eateries that are dog friendly such as The Fisherman’s Arms and The Ship Inn. For those wanting something more indulgent, you have a wonderful selection and choice of local bakeries to eat in or take out to savour a delicious Cornish Pasty.

If you see a dog bowl outside one of the shops, the chances are it is dog friendly and your furry friend may be in for a treat from the shopkeeper, especially if your dog is well behaved!
